Virtual PT Evaluation - 55 Min or 30 Min
A 55 or 30 minute pelvic floor or obstetric Physical Therapy evaluation conducted virtually. Evaluation includes review of medical and surgical history, current symptoms, and relevant information, assessment of posture, range of motion, strength and balance testing, and functional movement screening, all of which will assist in development and initial implementation of treatment plan.
Virtual PT Treatment - 45 Min or 30 Min
A 45 or 30 minute follow up treatment after a Physical Therapy evaluation has taken place. Treatment is catered to your specific needs that were determined during the evaluation. Includes therapeutic exercise, education on body mechanics, neuromuscular re-education, and home exercise program design.
Virtual Personal Training - 55 or 30 Min
A 55 or 30 minute Personal Training session catered to your goals. May include:
A personalized exercise program that changes and progresses as you become stronger
A return to run assessment and exercise program for women interested in returning to (or beginning) high impact exercise such as running or CrossFit
Education on proper posture and body mechanics for prevention of musculoskeletal issues that commonly arise postpartum
Education on how to take care of your pelvic floor during exercise as you recover from pregnancy and childbirth.
Virtual Birth Preparation - 45 Min
A 45 min birth preparation session conducted virtually that aims to prepare the body for birth in order to decrease risks of injury and complications as well as to improve confidence and positivity going into labor and delivery. Includes:
Education on optimal birthing positions specific to you and education on pain relieving techniques during labor (involves training with birth partner if interested)
Education on proper pushing techniques
Education and instruction on perineal massage to prepare the pelvic floor for labor
Education and instruction on specific stretches and movements to perform during the last few weeks of pregnancy focused on the hips, pelvis, and pelvic floor to promote lengthening and relaxation in preparation for labor
